This past week I did my usual thing of practicing at Seminole Golf Course in Tallahassee and playing at Wildwood in Wakulla. When I was at Wildwood on Tuesday, I was paired with the Sopchoppy Southern Baptist Church pastor, Dr. Bill Jenkins and his wife, Linda. We played 18 holes together, and I finished below par. The Jenkins are super nice people, and I'm glad I was able to meet them. Here is a link to their church website: www.sopchoppysouthernbaptist.com

Thursday was my final junior day at Jefferson Country Club. I had 8 boys and was able to play 27 holes since there weren't a lot of boys that day. I was challenged by a few of them to play, but I didn't have my clubs. So I played with Timothy Finlayson's clubs. We all played from the red tees, and I shot a 33 with his clubs on 9 holes. Needless to say, I emerged victorious over the 6-12 year olds.

My Pebble Beach trip is in the process of being finalized. I'm still trying to raise the remainder of the funds needed, but it looks like it's going to all work out. I am going to take the utmost advantage of this opportunity and use the valuable information and instruction from this trip to advance my career by playing higher level golf at the beginning of next year.

I am playing in a one day tournament at Jefferson Country Club on Tuesday for the Jefferson County Tigers football team. It's just a four man team tournament, but I was asked to play and a fun tournament is good for me on occasion.

Wednesday, I will be going to my sponsor, KP3 for some performance testing to make sure I am in peak physical condition. The group was recently interviewed by the Tallahassee Democrat to advertise and publicize their business. I was asked to pose for a few pictures and answer some questions. The interview should be in the Monday issue of the Democrat. There will also be pictures posted on the Democrat's website.

I really appreciate all the support and emails I have already received in response to my trip. I think I have the best people in the world supporting me. Thanks again to each and every one of you.
