My last trip took me to Biloxi, Mississippi for about 6 days. I was competing in the Emerald Coast Golf Tours Winter Championship.
The area was new to me, so I went ahead to check the courses out once I got there. We played two courses in the Ocean Springs area. I am pleased to say that I played very well in the four rounds I competed in. Two of the four rounds I shot under par, and placed 4th and 8th in the two events. I am extremely happy how I played and how I placed.
I have the pleasure of informing everyone that after my last events, I will now be competing during the winter months with the NGA/Hooters Tour. The Hooters Tour takes place at the end of the year around Orlando. Between now and the start of the new tour, I will be competing in a few more events, such as Nationwide Monday Qualifiers, some more Moonlight, OGA, and Emerald Coast Tour events, but I will also be conducting the Second Annual Sheriff's Charity Golf Tourney in Jefferson County.
My schedule will be a little less busy for the next few months for preparation of the charity event. I will be posting more information regarding this event later on.
I will be saving every penny I can until the start of the Hooters Tour. It will be a lot more expensive but better prize money, visibility, and recognition. I am excited about this opportunity as it is a step in the right direction. I wish it was happening now, but a few extra months of practicing can't hurt at all.
I ask for your continued support since the amount of competition will be few as I prepare physically, mentally and financially.
Thanks again for your support!
