Golfing with Glen, a Limited Liability Company

It's been a little while since my last update. However, I have been extremely busy with golf events, conducting tournaments and making my first company.

Golfing with Glen has now become a Limited Liability Company as of April 13. This is another big step for me in an effort to benefit financially to further my tournament exposure. If you have any questions about my company, please contact me.

I played in the Rotary's Annual Golf Tournament with Bobby and Ridgely Plaines and my dad. We ended up shooting a -15, 67 and winning the event. It was a fun day for a good cause. That was my last event to date.

I am now preparing for the South Georgia Classic Monday Qualifier at Glen Arven Country Club of Thomasville. The top 6 and ties will advance on to play in the actual event. I think there will be 144 golfers, so the odds are not in my favor, especially since this is my first large scale qualifier. But I am really excited about competing in this event. Regardless of the outcome, this will be a crucial step in maturing and the building up of my career. The tournament will be Monday, April 19. I will post more updates about this later.

I am conducting the Second Annual Sheriff's Charity Tournament on Saturday, May 1st. The tournament will be played at Jefferson Country Club in Monticello, Florida, with tee off times at 9 AM and 1 PM. I kindly ask for your help in spreading the word about the event to anyone who may be interested. Please email me if you need more information.

I have been practicing a lot lately. The last big round was at St. James Bay. I played well and posted another under par round. The last four rounds played were 67, 68, 71, 65. I am pleased about these scores and hope they continue on through Monday. I have switched to a belly putter made by Odyssey Golf for added stability. In my mind, three points of stability is better than two, so we'll see. My last four rounds, my average putts per round were 26, which is two strokes better than last years average. I hope it will continue to be a benefit.

I am still hoping to compete with the NGA/Hooters Tour during their Winter Series in Orlando from October to February. The expense is great, around $20,000 for 12 weeks of play, hence the creation of Golfing with Glen LLC. But the benefits outweigh the negatives, making the exposure and career maturing/building great to my future. This opportunity is crucial for the advancement of my career. It's one step closer to where I want to be.

I am pleased to say that I have three new sponsors since my last blog update. First, I will introduce my newest financial sponsors. JD James is a leading company in premium and custom grade architectural installation. Their web page is www.jdjamescorp.com. Secondly, Nature Bridges is a bridge and top-down construction company that specialize in environmentally sensitive areas. Their website is www.naturebridges.com. Both of these companies have nice websites with very interesting information. Please visit both of them, pass it on to your friends, and make sure you look at their galleries to see if they can help you in anyway. Just click on the images to the right to visit their sites.

Jennifer Ellis, LMT is now a physical sponsor for me. She handles muscular injuries, fybromyalgia, stress reduction, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, and is also a certified advanced sports massage therapist. She helps keep me loose as it is of mass importance to stay limber. With the increase in physical activity through workouts with KP3 and the 20 miles a week I now run, you can see how I may tighten up. Please contact her at 850-694-2204 or visit 180 South Cherry Street, Suite F, Monticello, Florida, and schedule a massage!

I appreciate everyone who keeps up with me and leaves kind remarks along the way. If you do not know, you can now follow me on Facebook or through email. I am constantly updating my website so even if you do not receive an email or update from me, please continue to visit and suggest new ideas.

Thanks again for all the support!

Glen
