NGA/Hooters Tour and California Bound!

Hey everyone,

It's been a little over two months since my last update, so I have a few things to talk about. First, I have played in a few non-professional/charity tournaments over the last few weeks and had a blast with them. I really enjoy playing in those events because of the people you meet and being involved with the charities.

Second, I have posted my schedule for the year at www.golfingwithglen.com. I am extremely excited about all that is to come. As you can tell, it involves plenty of traveling but that's part of it. I'll go across the country and back in a matter of a few weeks. I ask if you know of anyone who may know of a form of assistance in these areas to please contact me.

Third, I am pleased to say that I will be starting the NGA/Hooters Tour on November 2nd in Orlando. This tour is a big step up in my career and I hope to continue on to the top. With new tours come new issues, $20,000+ issues. The costs are pretty high for this, but it is a necessary step in my career. Unfortunately, the high cost has caused me to stop competing until late September in efforts to save up and fund raise for the events. Having said that, I'll now tell you what I've been doing with the down time, besides practicing, of course!

I had to think about a way I could work, play golf, and see Brittany all in one day, not necessarily in that order. So, I started my own web developing and design company called Design on a Dime, LLC. I build web sites at night and during spare time and can still play golf when I need too. I'll be able to work from hotel rooms, California, or wherever I may be. For those who know about web design, you know I won't be paying for my winter series by this but it is an attempt to fund a part of it.

I have set up an office at our feed mill in town. I am working in it to localize all my ventures and to have a place for my design company. Come by and see me sometime, 700 East York Street, Monticello, FL.

I am leaving for California today and coming back on Thursday, September 16th. I am going to see my Aunt and Uncle and to practice on some of the toughest courses around. I will let you know how I do out there upon my return.

I will start with the blogs more frequently from now until the winter season starts then they will come after each event. I just wanted to let you all know I am still alive and well, playing golf and lovin' life!

Thanks to all my sponsors for hanging with me through the dry months!
